ABOUT

Soprano Ariana Douglas is a graduate of the Florentine Opera Studio Artist program. During her time as a Studio Artist, Ms. Douglas performed the roles of Cugina in Madama Butterfly, Sally in Die Fledermaus, Mrs. Vance in the world premiere of Sister Carrie, and Zerlina in Don Giovanni. Ms. Douglas was recently seen as Giulietta in Offenbach’s Tales of Hoffmann with Skylight Music Theatre and First Lady in The Magic Flute with Florentine Opera. Her concert work includes the soprano soloist for Haydn's Paukenmesse with the Rockford Symphony Orchestra, Bruckner’s Te Deum with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Handel’s Messiah with the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Ms. Douglas was a member of the 2016 and 2017 Glimmerglass Festival Young Artist program covering the roles of Mary Warren and Ann Putnam in The Crucible and Clara in Porgy and Bess. Ms. Douglas holds degrees in vocal performance from University of Wisconsin-Madison and Louisiana State University.
